The Seattle Mariners began a 9-game homestand by defeating the Colorado Rockies, lead by another impressive effort by left fielder Jarred Kelenic. Kelenic had a two-run homer to start the scoring for Seattle in the bottom of the second, and a double in the bottom of the fourth to begin an inning that saw his team plate three more runs.
