CSS to host first ever Toy Drive, inside of 32 Bar & Grill at the Kraken Community Iceplex

By Charles Hamaker

Northgate, WA - The Circling Seattle Sports community team is excited to announce the first ever CSS Toy Drive, which will be hosted inside of the Kraken Community Iceplex’s 32 Bar & Grill. This is the first event that the CSS Community Division is putting on, an event that members Michael Loreno and Kaitlan Nicole have previously put on with a different group at the same venue. That previous event, thanks to the hard work of Michael and Kaitlan, saw great success and was an excellent example of what the CSS Community Division wants to do: join the passions of community service and sports to foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere that will help many in need all year long! Members of the CSS Community Division (Michael, Alicia, Kaitlan) will be present, and members of CSS will also be there are writer Jayd and founder Charles will be on site to help with the event! Here’s what to know about the event, and how to contribute to this great cause!

Event details

The 2024 CSS Toy Drive is taking place on Saturday, December 7th, 2024 from 2-4PM PST at the 32 Bar & Grill, located inside the Kraken Community Iceplex. The Bar & Grill is located on the West side of the Iceplex, the side of the facility closest to the Northgate Link Light Rail station. Free parking is available in the lots located around the Iceplex for those driving to the event. All toys and donations will be going to “Mary’s Place,” a nonprofit in Seattle & King County helping families experiencing homelessness to get the help they need. Michael will be sharing the receipts and photos of the journey as we go along, so you can see the journey of your donation/contribution as they’re collected and then donated!
