Mühl ruptures ACL in first overseas appearance

By Christan Braswell

Storm rookie and Beşiktaş guard Nika Muhl has suffered a ruptured left ACL in her debut with the Turkish club in the 2024 SuperCup Women’s SuperCup, according to Beşiktaş president Özkan Arseven.

The 5’11 UConn product signed on with Beşiktaş in late May and was excited about the opportunity when speaking to reporters during the WNBA season.

Muhl started in place of WNBA champion Dana Evans and made the most of her time on the floor, finishing with 11 points, three rebounds, nine assists, and two takeaways.

This is a developing story.
