Press release: CSS adds writer Rowan Schaberg for Seattle Storm coverage

Seattle, WA - As Circling Seattle Sports continues to look to add to the coverage brought to the Pacific Northwest for our Seattle-area teams, a new contributor has been added: Seattle native Rowan Schaberg, fresh off graduating from Colorado State University, will join to add to coverage of the Seattle Storm. Rowan has experience in covering the Storm already, as she has done so with “The Next” and still contributes to the outlet that has a heavy presence in Women’s basketball coverage.
Schaberg, in addition to her writing skill that’s been shown off already with coverage of the Storm, has worked in videography and photography during her college tenure at Colorado State University. As a student, she studied studying Journalism and Media Communication with a minor in Music, Stage, and Sports Production. As Colorado state’s basketball programs, both women’s and men’s, have seen success on the court in recent years, Rowan has provided videography coverage to the team and dabbled in photography as well with the Rams. In addition to getting words to the keyboard when it comes to Storm coverage, a goal with adding Rowan to the team is to see what sorts of things Circling Seattle Sports can do to maximize her talents, so that means the potential of videography and photography work as well.

Rowan is an experienced writer already when it comes to Storm basketball, and I’m excited to see what we’re able to create as we look to integrate her videography and photography talents as well. The goal has always been to increase our coverage in general, but especially when it comes to women’s sports, and Rowan will help with that.”
