Where the Seattle Storm roster sits currently, February 21st, 2025

Following a press conference with general manager Talisa Rhea and head coach Noelle Quinn that was meant to to discuss their offseason acquisitions, our Seattle Storm have made it clear that free agency is not yet over and they expect to make more moves. With that being said, here's a look at the roster as it sits now and how we got here.

Turning the page and embracing change for the Seattle Storm

During a press conference with the media, the first since the departure of franchise cornerstone Jewell Loyd, the Seattle Storm brass (General manager Talisa Rhea and head coach Noelle Quinn) made it clear that the franchise was turning a page and fully focusing on 2025.

Storm bring back familiar face in Alysha Clark

Our Seattle Storm are bringing back a familiar face, as Alysha Clark has reportedly signed with the team as she leaves the Las Vegas Aces in free agency. It's a quieter move for the Storm, but an important one as Clark is still a difference making veteran.

Aces sweep Storm in first round of WNBA playoffs

The Seattle Storm were swept in two games by the Las Vegas Aces in a 2024 WNBA Playoffs first round matchup, as once again a critical fourth quarter wasn't won by the Storm.

The Seattle Storm dropped their game one matchup in the first round of the WNBA Playoffs against the Las Vegas Aces, as a fourth quarter collapse ultimately doomed the Storm in a game they should've stolen on the road against the back-to-back defending champions.

Aces beat Storm 85-72, snapping four-game win streak

In the final regular season home game that the Seattle Storm played in 2024, the team fell to the Las Vegas Aces without two all-stars in Jewell Loyd and Ezi Magbegor. The Storm hosted the Aces in what will likely be a first round WNBA playoffs matchup, and held their own until very late in the fourth quarter.
