Rotation re-arrange: young Storm team sees a few changes to roster as month of June ends
To end out the month of June, the Seattle Storm have made some moves for certain, with one big potential addition supposedly taking place in the coming days. With the way that this season has gone and is currently going for the Storm, some shakeup isn’t necessarily the worst decision to make, but it’ll be interesting to see how it plays out.
Getting back to “us”: Storm contain Mercury in 97-74 all-around blowout victory
The Seattle Storm were able to get back to “us,” as proclaimed by head coach Noelle Quinn, as the team got their most complete all around performance of the season in a blowout win over the Phoenix Mercury. Despite not having exciting rookie Jordan Horston due to a shoulder injury, the Storm got a major contribution from their bench and entire rotation.

The Seattle Storm continue to drop close games, failing to close the gap late against the Washington Mystics in the first of two games that the teams will play this weekend. Without Jewell Loyd, Seattle was able to put up a strong fight as Ezi Magbegor put up a career high, but ultimately didn't have enough.

Storm thunder back against Wings, but fail to complete comeback
The Seattle Storm dropped their second game in a row to open up the 2023 season, but this time in thrilling fashion as Seattle nearly completed a comeback effort against the Dallas Wings. With 3 minutes left, the Storm seemed done for and set for another double digit loss, but fight from Jewell Loyd and Sami Whitcomb gave them a fighting chance late.
New-era Storm show out early, can’t play full effort in preseason loss to Mercury
The Seattle Storm dropped their first preseason contest ahead of the 2023 regular season, as several of the Storm players were able to contribute to a strong first half. The second half saw things crumble in the third period, and it was all Mercury from there.
