Seattle sends fans home happy on “Kraken Day” with 4-3 win over Predators
On the day that the city of Seattle officially declared as “Kraken day,” the cities NHL franchise was able to snap it’s seven game losing streak with a tight victory against the Nashville Predators. While the Kraken had their characteristic defensive issues remain present, Seattle was able to overcome them to secure a victory in their first game of the month of March.
Kraken lose OT heartbreaker to Bruins
To end their home schedule in the month of February in their inaugural season, the Seattle Kraken suffered an absolute heartbreaker of a loss, falling in overtime to a strong Boston Bruins team. The loss was a much better one in terms of the final result, but Seattle remains a sloppy team as the Kraken oft bailed out the Bruins with several penalties committed.
Kraken dominated by Islanders in 5-2 loss
The Seattle Kraken continued their struggles of their debut season, having lost their 8th of 9 games in the month of February. This time, coming to the visiting New York Islanders.
Kraken trounced by Maple Leafs in 6-2 loss
Things would not be romantic for the Seattle Kraken on Valentines day, 2022 as they were handily blown out by the Toronto Maple Leafs. Seattle struggled heavily on their specialty teams play, failing to get much going on their power play. On the other side of things, the Maple Leafs were able to take advantage of that as Toronto scored both times on two power play opportunities.
Kraken fall to Coyotes in disappointing showing
The Seattle Kraken losing streak out of the All-Star break would continue, hitting four games as they fell to the Arizona Coyotes in blowout-Esque fashion. Seattle was outclassed and continued to display the same mistakes that we have seen from the expansion club throughout their debut season.
Kraken beat Panthers in game of the year candidate
The Seattle Kraken were able to put together a game of the year candidate, defeating the heavily favored Florida Panthers by two goals for a final score of 5-3. Kraken goaltender Philipp Grubauer was excellent considering circumstances, and Seattle was able to get the offensive input needed to beat the juggernaut that is Florida.
Kraken hold on to beat Sharks in 3-2 thriller
Building off of their exhilarating overtime shootout win against the Chicago Blackahawks, the Seattle Kraken were able to inch out a win over the San Jose Sharks. Seattle will look to carry the momentum from their win into the second game of their doubleheader.
Kraken losing streak extends to nine with tight loss to Kings
Things continue to stay bad for the Seattle Kraken in their inaugural season, as their win streak extended to nine games with their fall to the Los Angeles Kings. Seattle fell 3-1 to the Kings.
Kraken losing streak extends to five with loss to Canucks at home
Troubling tendencies continued for the Seattle Kraken, as their losing streak hit the six game mark. The Kraken have not beaten the Vancouver Canucks yet, losing tonight’s effort on New Years day.
Kraken lose back and forth battle with Flames
The poor road continued for the Seattle Kraken, as their losing streak reached six games, falling to another divisional rival. The Kraken fell to the Calgary Flames this time, as Seattle captain Mark Giordano could not get revenge against his former team.
Short-handed Kraken fall in OT to Flyers
The Seattle Kraken saw their losing streak continue, hitting five games as Seattle fell to the Philadelphia Flyers in overtime. The Kraken made things close, but as has happened throughout this losing streak, Seattle could not finish off the job.
Kraken comeback falls short in OT loss to Blue Jacket
The Seattle Kraken were unsuccessful in their attempt to snap their three game losing streak, falling in overtime to the Columbus Blue Jackets.

The Seattle Kraken snapped their ugly losing streak, beating the Washington Capitals in exciting fashion. The Kraken were able to keep legendary Alex Ovechkin out of his office, successfully killing all four Capitals power plays
