Our Seattle Kraken, following a disastrous past stretch of games against the Pacific Division that saw them drop four of five, are out on the road for their next four contests. This road trip features tough games against four teams that all seem likely for the postseason, beginning tonight in Raleighwood against the Carolina Hurricanes. Here’s our game preview of Kraken at Canes.

To finish out a five-game homestand, our Seattle Kraken played a tight game against the Carolina Hurricanes until late, when the Canes pulled away with two late goals. It was an ugly loss for Seattle, who failed to do much of anything offensively and looked loss at times defensively.

The Seattle Kraken came out strong against the Carolina Hurricanes out on the road, but failed to properly close out the game as the Kraken fell in overtime to only collect the one point. Goaltender Joey Daccord was a major bright spot in a very bizarre game.

In the second game of their current four-game road trip, the Seattle Kraken once again went to overtime, this time falling as the Carolina Hurricanes prevailed. The Kraken failed to keep the Hurricanes on a losing streak, failing to score a goal after the first period.
Canes cause Chaos, but Kraken survive it to earn first win of 2023-24 season
Seattle secured their first win of the 2023-24 season with their 7-4 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes, as a strong start and end to this game on the offensive end saw the Kraken put up 7 goals on their opponents. This sort of win looked more like last season's Seattle team, and had fans excited yet again.

In a thrilling, grinding game against a talented Carolina Hurricanes team, the Seattle Kraken were able to sneak a late goal in by Marcus Johansson to pull out the surprising upset.
