A bizarre night was had for the Seattle Mariners as they played their second game of the series against the Oakland Athletics, as Seattle wound up losing three starters (including starting pitcher George Kirby) to illness/injury, two of those coming before first pitch even occurred.

The Seattle Mariners completed a series win over the Oakland Athletics, winning the first three of their ten game homestand as the team looks to finish out the Month of May on a high note. Seattle was powered to victory by another strong performance from Bryce Miller and a five-run 4th inning, topped off by a solo homer from Teoscar Hernandez.
