Mariners offense can’t support Marco Gonzales’ strong effort, Seattle swept by Milwaukee
The visiting Milwaukee Brewers (formerly the Seattle Pilots) completed a sweep of our Seattle Mariners despite a strong effort by Seattle starting pitcher Marco Gonzales and the Mariners having a golden opportunity in the bottom of the ninth as they had the bases loaded with no outs.

Our Seattle Mariners dropped their second straight loss to the Milwaukee Brewers, losing today in eleven innings. Our Mariners had a big opportunity to tie the game up and even win it in the bottom of the eleventh, but Julio Rodriguez grounded into a fielders choice to end things.

The Seattle Mariners continued their 9-game homestand, dropping game one of three to the Milwaukee Brewers. Seattle’s four game winning streak came to a halt as the Brewers jumped on Chris Flexen in the second inning and the Mariners bats continue to remain inconsistent.
