Storm burnt away by Sun in 20 point loss to begin big July road trip
To begin a long road trip, that includes the WNBA All-Star Break in the middle of the month, the Seattle Storm were burned away by the Connecticut Sun in a frustrating blowout loss.

Late comeback effort not enough; Storm fall to Liberty 81-66
The Seattle Storm dropped their third straight loss, falling to the New York Liberty in another contest that displayed many of the issues that they’d dealt with for most of the 2023 season in addition to a few other problems that Liberty took advantage of.

Getting back to “us”: Storm contain Mercury in 97-74 all-around blowout victory
The Seattle Storm were able to get back to “us,” as proclaimed by head coach Noelle Quinn, as the team got their most complete all around performance of the season in a blowout win over the Phoenix Mercury. Despite not having exciting rookie Jordan Horston due to a shoulder injury, the Storm got a major contribution from their bench and entire rotation.

New-era Storm show out early, can’t play full effort in preseason loss to Mercury
The Seattle Storm dropped their first preseason contest ahead of the 2023 regular season, as several of the Storm players were able to contribute to a strong first half. The second half saw things crumble in the third period, and it was all Mercury from there.
